Testimonial:

Luc Couillard of the Agence Métropolitaine de Transport (AMT) describes his experience with a ZENN (Zero Emission No Noise) car.

This demonstration model, produced by the Feel Good Cars Company in Ontario, is a version of the European vehicle.

I had the chance to try out a ZENN (Zero Emission No Noise) car for two weeks. This little electric two-seater was so cute that it turned the heads of everyone we passed. What a hit we were, my ZENN and I, during our time spent together!

It waited patiently for me every morning in the Loblaws parking lot until I exited the Parc train station. We took a different route each day: sometimes via Parc Avenue, sometimes via St. Urbain Street and sometimes via St. Denis Street. On average, it took us 20 minutes to get to Place d'Armes, where I would leave it for the day. (After all, I did have to go to work!) It didn't get too lonely as passers-by touched it and paid it compliments all day long. Journalists even tried to interview it! I talked a lot about it on TV. ZENN was so proud! While waiting for me in front of my office building, it rested to recharge its batteries since I had plugged it in during the few hours I was inside. But as soon as I had the chance, a business meeting downtown or a document to pick up, I hopped in and off we were together on another adventure!

We zipped in and out of traffic and silently parked in little nooks and crannies! One day, the driver of a 4X4 jokingly challenged us to a race. My ZENN and I arrived at the light only four seconds behind the 4X4 and we took off again neck and neck! What's the point in having a super powerful car when the average speed downtown is only 13 km/h? With a ZENN you do 40 km/h emission-free!

I truly loved my little ZENN!

Unfortunately, we could not live together happily ever after because I had to give ZENN back to the manufacturers once the trial period was over. I long to see it again on the streets of Montreal one day.
