In order to visualize the effects of one category and get a description of the phenomenon, select the desired intensity.

  • Force 0 ( winds less than 1 knot or 2 km/h )
  • Force 1 ( 1 to 3 knots or 2 to 6 km/h )
  • Force 2 ( 4 to 6 knots or 7 to 11 km/h )
  • Force 3 ( 7 to 10 knots or 12 to 19 km/h )
  • Force 4 ( 11 to 16 knots or 20 to 30 km/h )
  • Force 5 ( 17 to 21 knots or 31 to 39 km/h )
  • Force 6 ( 22 to 27 knots or 40 to 50 km/h )
  • Force 7 ( 28 to 33 knots or 51 to 61 km/h )
  • Force 8 ( 34 to 40 knots or 62 to 74 km/h )
  • Force 9 ( 41 to 47 knots or 75 to 87 km/h )
  • Force 10 ( 48 to 55 knots or 88 to 102 km/h )
